The Best Balance Transfer Credit Cards
Currently, we only recommend Discover® credit cards for 0% APR balance transfers. Our rationale is based on two key factors. First, unlike credit cards issued by Citi or Bank of America, all Discover® credit cards limit balance transfer fees to 3% with a maximum fee of $75 per transaction. Many Citi and Bank of America cards do not limit balance transfer fees. Secondly, many Citi and Chase credit cards offer 0% rates that vary based on your credit. It is possible with these cards to be approved and only offered a 0% APR for as little as 3 months. With Discover® you are guaranteed a 0% APR for 1 year on balance transfers if approved.
- Discover® MoreSM Card - Offers low fee balance transfers and a 0% APR on balance transfers for 1 year, plus a 0% APR on purchases for 1 Year.
Additional Discover 0% APR Balance Transfers
All Discover credit cards are currently offering a 0% APR on balance transfers for 1 year as well as a 0% APR on purchases for 6 months.
